Objectives
- Achieving international standards in engineering education and maintaining high standards in contributing to engineering science and technology.
- Facilitating lifelong learning by ensuring the availability of necessary infrastructure, laboratories, computing facilities, and social opportunities for students.
- Expanding scientific research opportunities for academic staff and encouraging innovation and entrepreneurship.
- Aligning undergraduate, master's, and doctoral theses with the needs of the region and the country while developing internship programs in collaboration with local and national industries.
Goals
- Completing the academic structuring of departments that have not yet commenced education and preparing them for student admissions in the upcoming periods.
- Renovating existing classrooms and increasing the number of lecture halls.
- Strengthening laboratory infrastructure while considering occupational health and safety within the available resources of the university.
- Addressing deficiencies in academic staff.
- Continuing efforts to align with the MÜDEK accreditation system, which was initiated in 2017 for educational quality assessment, with a focus on the Departments of Food Engineering and Computer Engineering, and expanding it to other departments.
- Expanding ERASMUS and other student/faculty exchange programs.
